There are many retreat areas close to the homestead many are under cover and some as Astro Turf where other areas are Buffalo lawns. There is ample low voltage landscape and pathway lighting surrounding the property, the ponds and the main pool allowing for evening strolls and attractive atmosphere.
The main house with its high gabled roof dominates the layout and is annexed by guest living areas on either side. The house is SMART wired and entertainment intra cabled.

The open plan magnificent room is suited to both intimate log fire evenings through to large functions ( and has hosted a 108 guest formal dinner arrangement as a wedding reception)
The Main Lounge has a beautifully Cedar gabled ceiling of some 6 metres high and is framed at one end by stunning front valley views and dominated at the other end by a massive sand stone back to back fireplace ( Gas one side Glassed Wood Heater on main side)
French Doors on three sides of the 11 metres x 7.5 metres lounge open to patios and internal entertainment garden space. Plantation Shutters and fine window drapery offer elegant and effective sun control options.
The open plan Lounge adjoins a cosy reading room with gas fireplace which inturn follows through to a 6 metre x 5 metre Billiards Room / Formal Dining.
This room from its elevated position has patio access to the pool, Cabana and Astro lawn. As per much of the open space areas this lighted outdoor entertainment area is sun protected by a huge sail shade.

The Homestead layout is well suited to self catered or professional functions. There is a long granite top servery, stainless steel bechtops and a prep island also. There is a restored antique Aga Oven adding a warm old fashioned touch to this fully equiped kitchen.
The carport is equipped with multiple refridgeration and storeage. large commercial BBQs and Carvery have been set up using this space for large functions.
A large walk in pantry as well as walk in Linen Room, guest closet, and cellar are located off the main foyer.
The Billiards Room can be used as a formal dining room if required. Gym fitness equipment is also used in this space.
The house is Intra wired for internal DVD distribution. Wireless AV can opersate throughout the rooms if required.
The Cabana is an entertainment hot spot in summer... ( it has its own outdoor fireplace if the mushmallows are the order on a winters night)
There is a large projection screen and DVD projector set up for outdoor movies as well as a full home entertainment set up.
There is a 4 person cedar sauna located near the pool .
