We have had great times here, enjoyed our children's and friends company, watched our grandchildren grow from little farm toddlers to experienced horse handlers and skilled motor cross riders. We look back at our accomplishments and the beauty of the property and know how much others will enjoy this.

The Grounds 8 Acres surrounding the facility have been dedicated to the homestead landscape. The lawns close to the homestead are either Astro Turf for maintenance convenience or Buffalo in some areas and the major pasture is Rye and Kikuyu. There is a garden pathway leading from the Guest bedroom wing to the 'Lake' and this area is flanked by mature Ash trees.
The long driveway into the compound is flanked by a post n rail fence, Agapanthas and bordered by a native tree line down towards the Lake.
The Orchard positioned on the south west viewed from the kitchen and conservatory has young and established stone fruit, citrus and grapes on offer.
Also on the west side is the vege garden with furtile loam and mulched soil. we've had great strawberry , lettuce, cabbage and pea crops from here just to mention a few.
The large work sheds overlook the 'Pines' and beyond to the pastures. There are good vanatge points throughtout the compound and many interesting spots to take a look around or just have a sit down and reflect.

The Landscape consists of approximately 129.65ha (320ac) consisting of flat and gently undulating running into steeper sand stone outcrops.
Fencing is approx 7700 metres with gated management corridoors. Rural experts and visitors alike remark about the quality of our fencing. Grazing livestock run on the property in rotational pastured areas.
The property is subdivided in to 7 paddocks. Water is supplied from three dams plus a very good fresh watter reticulation system from our bore.
The Merriwa River runs through the South West end of the property.
The soil type varies from Sandy Alluvial Loams, Clay Loams through to Volcanic Loams and some Black Clay.
Native and Ryes grasses are well established. Generally the pastures are self-maintained and in good order.
There are tidy laneways and trails suited for normal vehicle access to look around the property but 4WD are best suited.
The full southern boundary aligns one farming neighbor and the north and eastern boundaries align a tree conservation ‘carbon bank’ holding and national Park beyond effectively creating a conservation wilderness

The Property is designed as a resort style facility within a compond within the wilderness. There are gated perimeter walls on the South to soften the effects of climate on the Cabana entertainment area and the main house has been designed with patios leading out to annexes and gardens to provide options for entertaining or relaxing.
The front lawn with the central flower bordered fountain is popular for games or shaded relaxing under the Sail Shade. All four guestroom patio french doors open onto this area providing a great setting for early breakfast relocation or an afternoon read.
There is an enclosed sheltered entertaining lawn near the Pool and Cabana and this is also a nice place to meet up for a cool drink. It can be serviced from the Lounge or Games Room and is shaded by a large Sail Shade.
We have had Cocktail Parties on the Cabana Lawn and it has been a great success due to its close proximity to pool, catering and main lounge so that guests can mingle.
On the west side near the kitchen and pond there is a native wildflower garden and shrubbery where the Rosellas, Kookaburras, Minors, Swallows, Finches and more seem to have an attraction, so we encourage the birds and enjoy their theatrics.
We have planted over 200 trees around the compound, now mature and adding a lovely touch to the. property
